South Miami Fiat
Location: Perrine, FL
Client: Chrysler
Project:
In January 2009, the Fiat Group acquired a 20% stake in US automaker Chrysler LLC. The deal saw the return of the Fiat brand to North America after a 25-year absence. The first Fiat-branded model to appear was the internationally popular Fiat 500 City Car. Chrysler looked to establish dealerships quickly in order to compete in the sporty compact car market. Even though the branding program was not complete, Chrysler relied on our team to implement and test the brand elements. The South Dade store was the first Fiat site in South Florida. The project was a complete remodel of an existing dealership. The program included the following:
1.36 ac site with 80 spaces for vehicle storage/inventory.
1-story, 6,500 sf building with showroom, admin offices, employees lounge/lockers, 4 service bays, and 1 wash/get ready bay.
There is a 2nd phase contemplated for the introduction of the Alpha Romero, at which point the facility will be converted to a dual brand.
